Effects of hyperbaric oxygen therapyon neuroelectrophysiologicalindicatorsand neuron-specific enolase levels in elderlypatientswithvascularvertigo

【Abstract】ObjectiveToexplorethe eficacyof hyperbaricoxygen therapyonelderlypatients with vascularvertigoandanalyze itsimpactonneuroelectrohsioloicalindcatorsndneuronspecificolase（E）levels，providingaefereceforlialpactice. MethodsBetweeugust2andJuly230elderlypatitsagnosedwithasularvertigoereadmitedtonganoshan LakeCentral Hospitalwererandomlyassignedtoacontrolgoupndanobservationgroupusingarndomnumbertable，with3Opatints in eachgroup.Patitsinteontolgroupeceivedconvetioaltreatment，hiletoseinthebsevationgouprereatedithebric oxygentherapyinaddition.Bothgroupsofpatientseretreatedfor2days.Teterapeuticefects，erebralhemodnaicdicator， neuroelectropsiologicalidicatorsadNSElevelsoftetogrousofpatitsrecomparedResultsTeoverallterapeuticfcf theobservationgroupasbettthanthatoftecontrolgoupndthetotaleectiveratewashgherthanthatoftecontrolgroupal P<0.05 ） After treatment， the levels of peak systolic velocity （Vp） ， end diastolic velocity （Vd） and mean velocity （Vm） increased in both groups， with the observation group showing higher levels than the control group （all P<0.05 ）.After treatment， the latencies ofbrainstem auditory evoked potential （BAEP）wavesI，IandViothgrousweresortedndmplitdesofestbuarevokedmyogencpotetial（Eed. Moreover， the improvement was more obvious in the observation group （all P<0.05 ）.After treatment， the NSE levels of both groups of patients decreased，and those of the observation group were lower than those of the control group （all P<0.05 ）.Conclusion Hyperbaric oxygen therapy hasaremarkableterapeuticfectonederlypatientsithvascularvertig.Itcanmprovecerebralemodyamicsandteneecoducton function of the brainstem auditory pathway in patients，and reduce nerve celldamage.
