Abstract:Existing studieson deterministic transport networks for mining lack in-depth discussion of the applicability boundariesofTime-Sensitive Networking(TSN)and Slicing Packet Network (SPN),as wellas their potentialcoordination and technology integration paths.Theyalso fail tocombine therealities of multi-service, multi-layer,andhighlydynamicnetwork transport inmines toprovide technically instructive technologyselection and integrated networking solutions.Toaddressthis issue,this study systematically analyzed the urgent demand of industrial Ethernet and5Gradioaccessnetworks forthemining vertical industryfordeterministic transport networks in thecontext of inteligent mines.It focused on the basic principlesand performance characteristics of TSNand SPN.The key technologiesof TSN included trafficregulation,deterministic service scheduling,and centralizedcontrol,whilethekeytechnologiesofSPNincluded slicedEthernet,fine-granularityslicing,and packet forwarding.Combined with theactual networking architectureand service types of industrial ring networks in mining production environments,the applicability and technical limitationsof TSN and SPN in typical scenarios suchasundergroundcommunication,remotecontrol,videosurveillance,andsensordata transission were further investigated.The results showed that SPN,by virtue of itshard isolation capability,flexible service schedulng,and slicing features for vertical industries,was more consistent with the requirements of mining industrial ring networks for unified multi-service transport and deterministic performance assurance. Finally, this study demonstrates that SPN is an important technological path for the evolution of deterministic networks in the intelligent construction of mines and provides recommendations for the upgrading and deployment of mining industrial ring networks.
