Abstract:[Objective]ThisstudyaimedtoinvestigatetheeffectofC.spinosa fumigationonthefungaldiversityintherhizo sphere soil ofcucumbers infected with Fusarium oxysporum.[Methods]Four treatments were appliedto thecucumberrhizo sphere soil:(A)untreatedcontrol;(B)inoculationwithF.oxysporum only;(C)inoculation withF.oxysporum followed by fumigation with 0.05g/kg chloropicrin;(D) inoculation with F.oxysporum followed by fumigation using 6.0g/kg crushed C. spinosaplant material.The fungalcommunities were analyzed via high-throughputsequencingof the ITS region.[Results]The mostabundantfungal generaacross allsampleswereFusarium,Mortierella,Dendrostilbella,Podospora,Pseudomonas, Schizothecium,Alternaria,Penicillium,Aspergillus and Phialemonium. Fumigation with 6.0g/kgC .spinosa significantly reducedtheabundanceofFusarium,whileincreasingtheabundancesofMortierella,Bacilusclarkia,Corynespora,Psedo monas andAspergilus.[Conclusion]C.spinosa fumigationcan enhancetheoverallrichnessanddiversityoffungi incucumber rhizosphere soil.
