Abstract：This paper examines the coupling relationship between ESGand new quality productive forces，finding that listed companies in Anhui Province's nonferous metallurgy sector exhibitahighdegree ofcoupling between ESGand new quality productive forces.Thecoupling coordination level exhibits certain scale characteristics，meaning that larger enterprises demonstrate higher coordinationlevels.Aditionall，some enterprises face issues where ESG performance lags behindthe development of new quality productive forces.To promote the coordinated developmentof the both， this paper suggests establishing mutually reinforcing institutional mechanisms to guide companies in adopting the right concepts，ddressing weaknesses，integratingartificialintellgence tchnologyanddepeningthecouplingbetweeEG and new qualityproductive forces.
