Performances of Field-Mixed Emulsion Explosives Containing Amino Additives

[ABSTRACT]The influenceof diferent contents of amino aditives on the stabilityand detonation performances of field-mixedemulsion explosives wasstudied bycontrolingthecontentofaminoadditives,simulating thevibrationof transport vehicles ona vibration table,observing under an optical microscope,testing with aconductivitymeter,conducting high andlowtemperaturecycling box tests,conducting laserparticlesize analyzer tests,andconducting detonation velocity tests.Theexperimentalresults show thatthe hydrogenbonds formedbyaminoadditives inthe aqueous phaseof explosives could makethe structureof theemulsion matrix more stable,reduce the conductivityof theemulsion matrix,decrease the crystallzationcaused byvibration,and enhance theanti bumps propertiesoftheemulsion matrix.After high and low temperature cycling,the emulsion matrix does not undergoany austenitic maturation or polymerization phenomena,andthe particlesizeof theemulsion matrix containing aminoadditives isrelativelysmallAs thecontentofaminoadditives increases, detonation velocityoffield-mixed emulsion explosives shows atrendoffirstincreasing and thendecreasing.Whenthe mass fraction of amino additive is 0.2% ,thedetonationvelocity is the highest,reaching 4208.5m/s
