Optimization and evaluation of cable replacement sequence of single tower cable-stayed bridge considering multiple indicators

Abstract:Thecablesofacable-stayedbridgeundergovaryingdegesofdamageanddeteriorationindurabiltywhensubjectedtovarious loadsoverthelongterm，whichintuaffects themechanicalperformanceandsafetyofthecable-stayedbridge.Theoptimizationand replacementsequeneofteablsioteseviceofcablstaddgavebecoteoreticalandegingproblestatutly needatentionandsoutions.Topreliminarilydeteminethereplacementsequenceoftecables，thesingle-towercablstayedbridgeis equivalenttoaultisanelasticsupportontiouseastwithables，andmehaicalaalysisisperfoed.Toncptofertical supportstifessofthecablesaedridgeisntroucdandiisssuedattheainbeamoftesingletowercablestadbidgehas appropriatstifss，ndisotifiteidandtesupportsonbotsidesareingdTeteoreticalfoulaforthevrtilt stifssofthigle-towerablestadbdgeisdriedBasedonthis，teiflueceofustandfatigueonverticalsupportifsis considereandofoulaforuportisosideingableurabilitymagisproosdIdertvaateadee cablereplacementshforablestaedbdges，aompreesieevauatiomethodisproposed，consideringultipleindicatorsuch cableforce，mainbeambendingmoment，mainbeamdisplacement，maintwerbending moment，and maintowerhorzontaldisplacement. Takingapartilargle-toerdoubleablefacedablestaedbdgeasanexaple，theplacementsequeeoftecablesispeliarily determiedbyalclatigteerticalsupporttiffesofteables，adteproposdompeesiveevaluationmetodforableplat schemesconsideringmultipleindicatorsisusedtonalyzethreereplacementschemes，determiningtheptimalreplacementscheme.The resultsindicatetatthealeulatedrsultsbtadfrothteoreticalfoulaforverticalsupportstissaeigoodagreemntwiththe resultsofiniteelementaalysis，dmonstratigighaccuracyeompreesievaluatioetodosidegmultipledicatoforable replacementshessrongplcabilitdfeasiblityaccratelyqantifngachiicatordproidingoesponingttical reference for engineering applications.
