【AbstractThis paper takesthe malfunctionof theleft front door window failing to lowerina 2023 BMW 535Le （G38） astheresearch object.After verifying the fault phenomenon and performing diagnostic procedures，the fault code O30035 wasretrieved.Byexamining theLINvoltageattheleftfrontdoor windowregulator，theLINoutputvoltageoftheBDC module，and the LIN harnessbetwee the regulatorandthe BDC module，therotcause was ultimately identifiedas the corrosionduetowateringressat thewiringconnectoroftheleftfrontdoorhandle.Aftercleaningandtreating thecorroded area，thefault was eliminated.The studydemonstrates thata step-by-stepdiagnostic method based on circuit principles not onlyenables rapid localizationofcomplex LINbus faults，but also reminds maintenance personnel to emphasize on-vehicle verificationinaddition toconsulting circuit diagrams，inorder to avoid misjudgmentscausedbyincompletedocumentation.
