【Abstract】With the continuous iteration of power battery technology for new energy vehicles,the control performance and reliabilityof the batery thermal management system have become the corefactors restricting the range andsafety performance of new energy vehicles.The electric water pump,asa keycomponentof the thermal management system,and itsdrive controltechnologydirectly determines theoperational eficiencyand stabilityof thethermal management system.This paper focuses on the core component of the electric water pump drivechip,combines actual application schemes,systematically analyzes its technical requirements and selectionlogic,and mainly studies the key indicators suchasreliability,temperatureadaptationrange,control accuracy,integration degre,andcontrol algorithmof automotive-grade drive chips.Itcompares the technical advantages and disadvantagesof three mainstream architecture schemes: fully integrated,pre-drive+separated power devices,and "MCU + ";verifies the application value of sensorless field-oriented controlalgorithm,andanalyzes the technical implementation effectiveness through typical chipcase studies.Theresearch results show that: the high-integration single-chip solution has become the curent mainstream selection; the wide temperature working range of -40~150∘C , complete protection mechanism,and low power consumption characteristicsarethecore performance requirementsof the drivechip;algorithm hardwareizationand intelligentadaptive controlwillbethecoredirectionoffuture technologicalevolution.Theresearch inthispapercanprovideareferenceforthe selection design and technological innovation of the drive chip for electric water pumps in power battery.
