Abstract: As a manifestation of new quality productive forces in the cultural field, cultural new quality productive forces are the key force driving the development of university education on Northern Borderland Culture. Against the strategic background of building a socialist cultural power, it is of great practical significance to explore how cultural new quality productive forces empower the development of Northern Borderland Culture education in universities. Based on the theoretical connotation of cultural new quality productive forces, this paper focuses on the realistic challenges faced by the development of Northern Borderland Culture education in universities, and puts forward optimization strategies from three dimensions: optimizing the discipline system and talent cultivation model, enriching the curriculum content and enhancing the participation effectiveness of teachers and students, and improving the cultural inheritance paths and achievement transformation mechanism, so as to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the high-quality development of Northern Borderland Culture education in universities in the new era.
