Abstract： With the rapid development of new media technology and precise big data services， online ideological and political education has undertaken the function of guiding mainstream ideological values in higher education. Nevertheless， the inherent characteristics of the internet， including internet-based thinking， real-time information interaction， and the flexible switching of subject and object roles， have weakened the communication effectiveness of red culture in colleges and universities to a certain extent. Based on the current status of integrating red culture into online ideological and political education， this paper analyzes the practical dilemmas existing in resource integration， subject-object interaction and cultural penetration. From the three dimensions of teachers as the subject， students as the object， and cultural resources as the carrier， it puts forward targeted optimization strategies， including optimizing the construction of online red education positions， building interactive communication platforms， and integrating convergent media resources. The research findings provide practical references for improving the educational effectiveness of red culture in college ideological and political education.
