Abstract: Fengxiang Clay Sculpture from Liuying Village in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is a nationally recognized intangible cultural heritage. With the advancement of the digital era, Fengxiang Clay Sculpture has leveraged innovative promotional opportunities. However, in today's commercialized landscape, maintaining the cultural distinctiveness of Fengxiang clay sculptures while balancing commercialization has become a significant challenge. This study conducts an in-depth analysis of the cultural value of Fengxiang clay sculptures, systematically examining the current challenges: a limited pool of practitioners, insufficient cultural iconic influence, and low alignment with public preferences. Based on field research, it proposes diverse integrated development paths: strengthening the Fengxiang clay sculpture workforce, leveraging distinctive cultural resources, intensifying promotion of local culture, actively exploring market product preferences, and creating modern IPs that empower Fengxiang clay sculpture with cultural value. These efforts aim to transform Fengxiang clay sculpture from a cultural resource into cultural capital, helping it overcome development bottlenecks and achieve industrial upgrading.
