Abstract: This paper systematically explains the multidimensional value of integrating the essence of fine traditional Chinese culture into ideological and political education in universities, reviews the breakthroughs and bottlenecks in current practice, and proposes targeted improvement approaches, aiming to promote their deep integration, enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education, and provide theoretical support and practical reference. The study shows that such integration can enrich teaching materials, innovate teaching methods, strengthen students' cultural confidence and national identity, solidifying the ideological foundation for fostering new people of the times tasked with the mission of national rejuvenation. This paper adopts literature research and case analysis. Although progress has been made, current integration efforts still face issues such as superficial implementation and inadequate mechanisms. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen top-level design, deepen content exploration, innovate teaching methods, enhance teacher development, to promote a deeper and more effective integration.
