Abstract: The reform of ideological and political courses in the new era focuses on enhancing the accessibility of ideological and political theory courses in universities as its core issue. Currently, ideological and political courses are facing the dilemma of strong theoretical indoctrination but insufficient individual attention. The root cause lies in the lack of the dimension of subjectivity in educational practice. The humanistic education ideas contained in the fine traditional Chinese family letters - including the personalized principle of teaching according to individual aptitude, the equal teacher-student view of mutual learning, the educational goal of integrating morality and talent, and the communication method of integrating reason and emotion - provide ideological resources to solve this problem. To achieve the organic unity of value guidance and personality formation, effectively enhance the accessibility of ideological and political courses, and implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, the traditional family letter education concepts can be integrated into the teaching of ideological and
