Abstract: As the core literature resource center of colleges and universities, university libraries shoulder the mission of local cultural dissemination. Grounded in practical work and leveraging library spaces, physical collections and digital resources, this paper centers on the necessity of local literature construction in university libraries, and explores the construction paths of local literature and the realization mechanism of local culture-based education from multiple perspectives and dimensions. This study aims to actively fulfill the mission of promoting local characteristic culture, reinforce the core functions of libraries in talent cultivation and knowledge inheritance, and assist university libraries in further optimizing their services for teaching and scientific research.
