Abstract: Tiangong Kaiwu is a canonical classic of ancient Chinese science and technology. It not only embodies the practical wisdom of traditional handicrafts and agronomy, but also boasts the linguistic artistry and narrative features of literary works. Its concise yet figurative language and scenic narrative construction create a symbiotic space for science, technology and literature. This integration, rooted in the Chinese cultural philosophy of "the unity of Heaven and humanity" and the intellectual tradition of "pragmatic application of learning", offers cultural insights for contemporary interdisciplinary research. Taking Tiangong Kaiwu as the core research object, this paper sorts out the patterns of integration between its literary expression and scientific content. It analyzes the role of ancient Chinese literature in recording and disseminating scientific knowledge, as well as the materials and perspectives that scientific practice provides for literary creation. On this basis, it further explores the cultural trait of the integration of literature, history, philosophy and science in ancient China, and reveals the internal logic of mutual nourishment between ancient literature and science and technology.
