【AbstractChronic metabolicdisorderssuchas diabetesandobesityhaveemergedas major global healthchalenges.Adverse ntrauterineenvironmentduringarlylifesignificantlyincreases tesusceptibilitytometabolicdiseasesinadutood.Matealexeciseinterventiohasbeenrecognizedasaneffctivemeasuretoimproveglucolipidmetabolichealthinofspring;however,theunderlying mechanismremainsunclear.Gut microbiota hasbecomearesearch hotspot in this field.Recent evidencehasshow thatgut microbiota-derivedmetabolitesmayinfluencehostDNAmethylationbyprovidingmethyldonors.Thisarticleaims toclarifyheprotec tiveeffctofearly-lifeexerciseinterventiononintergenerationalmetabolismfromtheperspectiveofthe“gutmicrobiota-gut microbiota-dredmeabolites-Detylatio”axis,idertprovideewtorecalassdpotentialintervetoatr disrupting the intergenerational transmission of glucolipid metabolic disorders.
