The 30th Anniversary of the “ Olympic Glory Program" ： Journey，Achievements and Prospects

Abstract：The Olympic GloryProgramserves asaguiding document forthe development of China’scompetitivesports，laying animportantinstitutionalfoundationforthepromotionanddevelopmentofcompetitiesports，teimprovementofcompitive sports performance，andthe pursuitof glory inallaspectsofcompetitivesports.Thispaperuses research methodssuchas literaturereview and case analysistosortoutthehistorical processof the four phases of theOlympic GloryProgram， summarizeanddistilltheachievements made，anddirectlyaddress thepractical problems thathaveemergedduring the30- yeardevelopment proces.Theresearch suggests thatinthenewhistorical journeytowards Chinesemodernization，theOlympic GloryProgramshould：aderetotheParty'sleadershipovercompetitivesports，leveragetheadvantagesofthenewnational system;acelerate thelayout of competitive sportsevents，and givepriority totherapiddevelopment of teamsports; continuouslyleverage theadvantagesof social forcesas the main body，enhance Olympic preparationsand theconstructionof national teams;alignwith thedevelopment lawsof modern competitivesports，andpromote thebalanced developmentof competitive sports profesional events;focusonthecontemporaryvalueofthe Chinesesportsspirit，andrefinethecultureof China'scompetitivesportsevents;andinlinewiththelawsofmodern legal systemconstruction，achievenationallegal recognition of Olympic glory.
