This article probes into the changes in Buddhastatues on the Silk Road from the 4th century to the 5th century from the perspective of Gandharastatues and other cultural relics exhibited in “From Mediterranean to China： Selections from Hirayama Ikuo Silk Road Museum Collections”，and explains the style transformation as a result of such changes.
