Abstract:Thispaperuses thetradedataofnew energyvehiclesfrom2O17 to2O22 intheUnited Nations Trade StatisticsDatabase toexploretheevolutionarycharacteristicsanddriving mechanismsof the globaltradenetworkof new energyvehicles. Theresearchfids thatthescopeof theglobalrade networkofnewenergyvehiclesisincreasinglycomplex,with tradecoections becoming closerandmoreeficient.Cooperation withinregions hassignificantlyincreasedandshowsadiversifieddevelopmenttrend.However,therearestllasymmetrical traderelations,ndnon-closed-lopmotifsaccountforalargeproportion. Inrecentyears,China’spositionand influenceintheglobal trade networkofnewenergyvehicleshavesignificantlyimproved, withitstradepaticipatonmodemainlybingexports.Endogenous mechanismssuchastheeciprocalefect,aglomerationeffect,transmissionefect,andtimestructreeffect,asellasexogenousmechanismssuchaseonomicdevelopmentleveland businessfreedom,complementeachotherand jointlypromote theevolutionofthe trade network ofnew energyvehicles.Based onthis,inthefuture,China’snewenergyvehiclesshouldcontinuouslystrengthentheimportanceof nodes,optimize thesecurity ofthetrade network,andenhancetheconnectivityof thetradenetwork,this willpromotethehighqualitydevelopmentofChina's new energy vehicle trade.
