The clinical symptoms analyze of 102 cases with dry eye syndrome

【Abstract】
Objective To analyze the clinical characteristic of dry eye syndrome, explore how to enhance the diagnosis rate and reduce error diagnostic.
Methods102 cases of clinical dry eye syndrome patients were analyzed retrospectively. Take the clinical symptom and the inspection result of basal Schirmer test (Schirmer test I), tear break-up time (BUT) and the cornea fluorescein dyes as the diagnosis standard.
ResultsIn 102 cases dry eye syndrome patient, 86 cases (84%)had the symptom of dry, the visual acuities of 70 cases (67%) had came down after gazed , but after blinked would returned to normal, 61 cases (60%) had eye strain, 55 cases (54%)had foreign body sensation, 51 cases (50%) had vague vision, 47 cases (46%) had the ache of eyes, 38 cases (37%) feared light, 36 cases (35%) felt there were many mucus in their eyes, 29 cases (28%) had the symptom of lacrimation, 16 cases (16%)had the symptom of itches, 15 cases (15%) had red eyes .
ConclusionIn order to diagnose dry eye syndrome, the clinical symptom is the important basis and the essential condition.
