内容提要：内心独白是将人物内心世界默然无声的意识活动展现于读者视听感官的一种写作技巧,是《尤利西斯》意识流技法的一大亮点。本文认为,乔伊斯在《尤利西斯》中成功地解决了内心独白表现技法上的系列难题，运用了具有创新性的艺术手段：一、打造桥墩式站头连接结构，用一个外在的动态行为作为人物飘忽不定心理思绪的依附与归宿，使散发出去的意识“软件”沿着现实事件的轴线在“硬件”轨道上运行；二、创建圆周形环状流体独白样式，整个潜意识流程均选用同一个肯定式单词“yes”作为文本的开头、过渡与结束，将独白内涵一线串起，呈现出首尾衔接的圆周形环状结构；三、将传统独白的单向思维定势改建为双向或多向思维定势，形成不同视角的个人内心的双向对流或多向交流。这些手段彰显出心理潜能的释放功能、流体功能和表意功能。

Title:The Construction of the Interior Monologuein Ulysses
Abstract: Interior monologue is a kind of writing technique with which the author displays the consciousnessof characters’ inner world to readers. It is one of the remarkablestream of consciousness techniques in Ulysses. This paper holds that Joyce succeeds in overcoming a series of difficulties in the use ofthe technique of interior monologue throughartistic means to reveal the relieving, fluid and representational functions of psychological potentials.
