摘要：本文通过对西北地区乡镇社会体育组织进行调查，结果显示，多数乡镇有社会体育组织，其主要形式为：政府中体育机构——文化（体）站、群众性体育组织和民间体育组织三类，有一半以上的乡镇社会体育组织人员属于兼职，乡镇体育经费较少，有三分之一多的乡镇近两年开展体育活动或比赛1-2次，除乡镇社会体育组织开展体育活动外，农民利用传统节日开展一些民族民间体育活动。同时针对存在的问题，提出发展对策。

Abstract:Through the research on the social sports organizations in villages and towns of the Northwest region, it appears that there are social sports organizations in most of villages and towns. The main forms are sports organizations in the governments---cultural stations, mass sports organizations and the nongovernmental sports organizations. More than half of the administrators in the social sports organizations are working part-time. There are short of sports funds in villages and towns .One of the third villages and towns have hold sports activities or games once or twice in two years. Besides, peasants hold some ethical or folk sports activities on the traditional festival. In view of the problems, the authors raise the developmental countermeasures.
