摘 要：奥林匹克火炬接力作为奥运会的重要仪式之一，现已得到了众多人的关注，随着2008北京奥运会的不断临近，该项活动也是近在咫尺，为了使更多的人了解奥林匹克火炬接力，从两个方面对奥林匹克火炬接力进行了解析，一是对奥林匹克火炬接力进行了历史透视，其中包括古代奥运会的火炬接力、现代夏奥会和冬奥会的圣火传递；二是对奥林匹克火炬接力的价值进行了分析，主要包括人文价值、科技价值、经济价值、文化艺术价值、纪念品收藏价值和教育价值，旨在为北京2008奥运会的火炬接力活动提供理论及实践的参考。

　　abstract:olympic torch relay has become one of the most significant rituals of the olympic games, and drawn global people's attention. with the approaching of the 2008 beijing olympic games, this event is also around the corner. in order to let more people understand the olympic torch relay, the thesis analyzes it from two aspects: one is explanation on the history of olympic torch relay, including the ancient olympic games, the games of the olympiad, and the winter olympic games; the other is analysis on the values of olympic torch relay in terms of humanity, science and technology, economy, culture and art, collection, education so as to provide certain references for the torch relay of beijing 2008 olympic games.
